BACKSTORY

Michael & Theresa were highschool sweethearts, loved each-other very much but didn't have the means to become parents at such a young age, with Terry being only 19. First, they had Alexis, a fierce little brunette girl who side-eyed them the day of her birth, then not even a year later they got Devon, a little boy who copied everything his big sister did. Mikey had to work three jobs to make the ends meet every month, but the caring parents made sure their financial struggles didn't impact the kids much. They even managed to have three more daughters after them, Joanne, a malicious but oddly calm brunette, Rowan, a ginger and smaller version of the eldest daughter, and Aurora, the youngest but also the wildest of their children, always climbing trees, she even broke her legs five times and made social services worry for a while, which in retrospective, was very funny considering the faces the worker pulled when she came on her cheking. Devon was fifteen when it happened, and the woman left wishing the parents "the biggest of luck with these ones, and also, check the little one for ADHD." and flew as fast as a lightning bolt. And she was right, Rory was in fact neurodivergent, and so were the parents and the other children, all had their own disabilities, sometimes mixing with others. But even through the chaos of them all, Mikey and Terry stayed by their kids' side through everything ; the good and the bad, trying their best to be the most supportive parents, to no extents.

backstory: Mikey was born from a violent dad and a loving but sick mother. She tried raising him with love but his father never once let him express emotions. It's only at seventeen, in high-school that he found Terry and started opening up. When Terry told him about her first pregnancy, his first instinct had been to flew since he was a firm believer that he could not be a good father. He stayed nonetheless, because the idea of Terry looking after a little child made all his doubts go away. He decided to learn by her side, and if you were to ask any of his four children, they'd all say the same thing: dad's the best.At this period, he used to work three jobs : auto-mechanic on week-ends, night keeper in a big corporation three nights (monday, tuesday, wednesday) and on thursdays and fridays he worked as a janitor in Wellfleet's high school. Then when he was around twenty-five, with the savings he was able to make and the help from Terry, he was able to open his own auto-repair shop that the kids all insisted on calling Wheel Be Alright. To this day, Mikey still wonders why he accepted, but the shop's working wonders, so he doesn't really mind.

backstory: Terry comes from a big family (three brothers, one sister) and always lived the dynamic despite clearly not being the favorite child. She was one to always believe that anyone could be deeply good until they prove her wrong and it happened a lot of times. Being only nineteen when she got pregnant, she promised herself to never make a distinction amongst her children and kept that promise everyday.
At 19, she didn't work, Mikey being the provider while she actually took care of the kids. While she did that though, she also learned a lot about clothes creation, mostly costumes and three years later, at 22, she took classes, had her major and started working. At first, she didn't get many jobs but she finally got engaged by the Boston's theater and her life finally started. All along her children's childhood, she was the mom who made the best halloween costumes.
